Responsible gambling keeps each session in the territory of entertainment. This site is about support and accounts, so the control tools take centre stage here: self-exclusion and the cooling-off pause are requested from the operator support team. This page explains how to use them and where to turn in Colombia.
What responsible gambling means
It means playing with money you can lose without changing anything in your month. No loans. No credit cards. No rent, grocery or utility money either. The amount is decided before you open the game.
What the operator offers
DaleWin has two tools for stepping away from gambling:
- self-exclusion, which locks the account for at least six months, with no promotional messages;
- a cooling-off period, a 7-day pause.
Both are requested from Customer Support, which guides you through the process. The operator also recommends requesting self-exclusion on any other site where you have an account.
Signs that gambling has stopped being fun
These signs appear little by little and are almost always noticed from the outside before the inside:
- you play to win back what you lost, not for fun;
- you hide from your family how much time or money you spend;
- you borrow money or use money meant for fixed expenses;
- you see gambling as a source of income;
- you promise to stop and cannot.
If you recognise yourself in two or more, it is worth stopping for a few days. Talking it over with someone you trust helps as well.
How to request self-exclusion
It is requested by chat or by email from Customer Support, which guides the process. The lock lasts at least six months, and once confirmed it cannot be reversed.
To escalate a case, the operator answers at support@dalewin.com. That said, no agent can lift a self-exclusion before the requested term, and that is how it should be.
Minimum age
Real-money gambling is forbidden for anyone under 18. If you share a device, protect access with a password. Consider a filtering program on the device as well, such as Net Nanny.
Where to get help in Colombia
Asking for help early keeps the problem from growing. These are the options available:
- Gamblers Anonymous, Gambling Therapy and GamCare, international organisations recommended by the operator itself;
- Jugadores Anónimos Colombia, in-person and online support groups;
- Línea 106, free psychological support;
- departmental and municipal Health Secretariats;
- your EPS, which covers mental health care under Law 1616 of 2013.
None of these doors requires you to stop playing before you call. They also work if you are asking on behalf of someone else.
